Well, the sun came out and it was nice enough to venture outside! My mom was nice enough to send Marley a really nice jacket for the snow, but we hadn't even thought about snow boots or pants! We did the best we could with what we had, but we couldn't stay out long. Marley didn't notice that she didn't have the right equipment though! She had a blast!
Asa, with a little help from Marley, wrote her name in the snow.
There were kids sledding down a big hill behind our house. We had the white-trash version: a trash can lid. Don't worry, this trash can hasn't been used since our old house and it was cleaned when we moved. And Marley didn't actually do any sledding down hills on her own. But again, she didn't even notice the difference because she was having a blast just getting pulled around on it!
At the point, we were all really cold so we decided to go back inside and head to the PX for the right equipment for Marley's lower half. We found some snow boots and pants (both of which are technically from the boys' department. I mean, seriously, does every piece of clothing in the girls' department need to be pink with flowers or princesses? Anyway, she still looked adorable, even in boy clothes!
We can't wait for more snow fun!
