Saturday started with Marley waking up and yelling, "Mimi! Papa! Dede!" to my sleepy face. She remembered they were here and was ready to party! We made breakfast and then everyone but Emily headed on post to hit up some more playgrounds! The gnats were ferocious, but we all had fun watching Marley play. She even convinced Papa to go down the slide! She is getting so much more used to other kids. When another child approaches her on the playground now, she waves and says "Hello" instead of looking down and mumbling "Mama. Mama."
There is a cave on post, so after Marley was done playing we decided to take everyone there. I had never been before, so I thought it was really neat. And of course my mother, the Geologist, loved it also!
Marley was really nervous, probably because my mom slipped at one point. So, she definitely didn't want her picture taken!
She fell asleep within minutes of us getting in the car, and then slept in the car with Mimi once we got home. My mom and I had decided we wanted to make my favorite meal, chicken pot pie, for dinner, so we had to head to the store after nap time to pick up everything we needed. While we were at the store, Emily and Asa took Marley to the playground! We really don't go to the playground this much normally!
We had a fantastic dinner! Dede gave Marley a bath, and then Marley went to sleep very quickly after her long day. I loved spending time with my mom, Emily, and Asa at night. We played Clue, Pop 5, Imaginiff, Scrabble, and we also dressed Emily up!
