Last night went okay. She cried a lot in the afternoon and evening because she was so tired and I guess she couldn't get settled enough to sleep for a while. She also barely ate. I had to pump twice and she ate about an ounce from a bottle. Then, she passed out in Asa's arms for a couple of hours (enough time to watch LOST!). When we got into bed, she ate a little bit (thank goodness) and went to sleep with us. She woke u pa few time throughout the night, but she never really cried a whole lot. She just wanted to be awake. So, I hung out with her for about two hours and then when I couldn't take it anymore, Asa hung out with her. We were trying to put her to sleep most of the time, but she just wouldn't stay asleep. I am just really glad she wasn't crying. I would much rather stay awake with her longer. She ate a little throughout the night, but only on my left side. It still hurts her to eat from the right. So, I pump. (Now I'm at work and I don't want to ask for time to feed Marley and time to pump the other side... don't know what I'm going to do...)
She is doing pretty well this morning. She is in a good mood and sleeping up here with me. I moved her bed into the other room with some monotonous talk radio on so that she will sleep better. She is doing pretty well at taking mer medicine, except I don't know how much of the ear drops actually get down there. I am hoping they say to give her three drops knowing that some will come out. So, she really ends up with like one and a half.
Some thing completely unrelated: I want to move into the apartments that Asa works for. I made the mistake of going to look at one yesterday while we were having lunch with him at the office and they are sooooo nice. I thought about it all night and tried to think of a way to get one. I was already planning where our furniture would go. One thing that really stressed me out about our apartment is the flooring. We've got three different kind of flooring and tacks sticking up where the carpet meets the tile. I am going to have to figure something out before Marley can crawl. The Vista Pines apartments are so much bigger and more open. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one big room! That's what I want... But who knows if it will ever actually work out. I would love to live there though. We are outgrowing our apartment. I really like the set-up we have here outside with the woods and the patio and dog park. But I like the inside of that apartment way better. I'll just keep hoping...
