Baby girl is needing to be held a lot lately. She has become my dinner helper in the Ergo and my companion for most of the chores. I like having the company when she is content. But sometimes she isn't. And that makes for a hard day.
Tonight Marley wanted to put on a show for us. She got dressed and then waited in the hallway while we turned off the lights and made a spotlight for her. She announced herself and walked out.
"Presenting, Princess Marley of the dancer!"
She twirled and smiled and checked to make sure we were watching. She told us where to shine the spotlight and stuck her tongue out in concentration. She took this very seriously, and it was a joy to watch her. She was so happy performing for us.
