{Making Vivi's birthday gift} I have never sewn anything on my own, but I am attempting to make her a birthday gift that will be a very special and sentimental cloth book that she will hopefully love! We are really trying to go the homemade route for birthday presents this year to save some money. But this book doesn't feel like that at all. I am so excited to make it and give it to her and it feels way more special than any toy I could have gotten her.
{Playing together} Vivi and Marley are learning to play together more every day. Vivi is getting old enough to watch Marley and do what she's doing. So, they play under the blankets together, drum on things, and even play with blocks sort of together. (It's team work for Marley to build with them and then Vivi knock them over, right?)
{Splash Pad} Vivi and Marley both love the water!
{Fishing} We have taken a few spontaneous trips to the river after dinner to let Asa and Marley do some fishing. Marley is loving it. She has gotten to great at casting!
{Welcome Home Party} This last week, Asa's company (finally) had a welcome home party for them. We had a family PT session all together and then spent the day having BBQ and playing games. It was a lot of fun. And don't we look cute?!
{River Trips} We have made a few trips to the river in the afternoons to let the girls explore and swim. This time is so happy for all of us. The girls get to have some time outside doing things they love, Asa gets to fish, and I get to relax in the water and get some sun. Win, win, win. Even if we only stay for an hour or two, it is always worth the effort to get there.

{Trying out
{Sick babies} Both girls have gotten sick this week. Runny noses, coughs and red eyes have filled the house. But both are recovering and and acting like it never happened!
{Homemade goodness} I'm on a homemade kick. Breads, tortillas, ice cream, blackberry cobbler, and all kinds of new recipes. Our kitchen has never smelled so good.
{Kisses} Is there really anything sweeter than a baby who has just learned to kiss? I don't think so.
