1. I am officially done with school this semester! I was taking three classes online and ended up with much better grades than I thought I would. So, now I have a break for a while. I am going to try to keep taking as many classes as I can from Missouri, but I am running out of online classes to take. They are offering one of the Health Science classes I need in the fall, so hopefully I can get signed up for it. I need to get advised first, and then I can enroll in it.
2. Marley is not sleeping very well here. It took me an hour and a half to get her to sleep tonight, most of the time spent with her crying. I guess it is because she isn't on a consistent schedule here. In Missouri, I had gotten her on a 7:30 bedtime and she always went to sleep easily. But we have so much going on here in the evenings that there is no way to get her in bed at the same time every night. It is kind of wearing me out, so I may have to try to get her back on a schedule as best I can.
3. Marley and I have been working out every day! I haven't worked out this much since I was on swim team in high school. I put Marley in the stroller and go to the SFA stadium and walk for 45 minutes, and it feels great. For some reason I get really motivated when I am away from Asa to eat healthy and exercise. It is so much easier to lose weight when he's not around! I know that sounds terrible, but he is such an unhealthy eater! Without his food around I can actually eat well and in turn, lose weight!
4. Asa is doing well, as far as I know. I don't get to talk to him as much as we thought we would, but I guess that's normal in the Army. His Sargent is sort of taking him under his wing. They go to the gym together every afternoon and evidently they have a lot to talk about. I am so glad he is getting to know the guys in his unit and making friends. It will make the next three years a lot easier for him. He should get a break where we can all go see him over Memorial Day weekend. So, heopfully that will work out and we can get a big group of people to go see him for the day!
5. We have family coming to visit us! Last weekend my Grandma Karen and Grandpa David came in to see us. Next week, my Mimi is coming at the beginning of the week and then my Uncle Cliff, Aunt Christy, and their baby Lilah are all coming later in the week! I'm so excited to see everyone and I have never gotten to meet little Lilah! It should be a great time!
