Marley is eleven months old today. Her eleventh month was jam-packed with fun, new things, and stress. She swam for the first time, visited Austin for the second time, started bathing like a big girl in the bath tub, grew a big appetite for all the veggies we could serve her and then lost it in a week, played on her water mat at Mimi and Papa's, stayed with new people while Mommy had time off, went to her first Blueberry Festival, got a visit from her cousin Anneke, and celebrated her Daddy's first Father's Day.
She learned how to slurp spaghetti, climb onto the couch, climb off the couch, and has learned how to do The Twist! She can shake her head to say "no" and even learned about fishing from her Daddy. She also moved out of the apartment we brought her home to and into a house that is so much happier.
She has become a pro at giving kisses (although lately they have become biting kisses), she can point out what she wants, she can say "uh oh" when she drops her cup on the ground, she can stand unassisted for a few seconds and even managed to take three steps without our help. She is so beautiful and smart. I wanted this blog to keep record of when she hit certain milestones and when exciting things happened. But I haven't been able to keep up! Things change several times a day and it's hard to keep track of! She is getting so big and i can't believe that in a few weeks she will be a year old. I think I'm going to cry all day.
