Several thing have happened today.
1. Marley woke us up at 7 am. She normally sleeps until 8:30 or 9, so this change was rather disappointing.
2. I steamed and mashed a pear for Marley to try. She wasn't a huge fan, bu tI don't know if that was because she didn't like it or if she just wasn't very hungry. I am going to try again later this evening or tomorrow. I want her to like them! I really like them!
3. I read from a few places that Marley should be having an ounce of water with each "meal" we give her. So, we had our first successful sippy cup experience. I guess it helped that there was actually something in it! She was sucking it down so fast that she was out of breath when she finished. Who knew she would be such a fan of water?
4. I exercised today! After Marley woke up from her nap, she and I walked around Windhill for a while. We stopped at Jenna's apartment and visited with her for a little while. Then we went to the park to walk the trails there. We stopped and had a snack and drank some water. It felt good to exercise. I miss it.
5. She is getting so strong. She rolled all around the living room today until she made her way to the entertainment center and began pushing buttons on the DVD player. I guess it's time to babyproof.
So, her 7 month birthday was pretty eventful.
