Finally! A Rug!
Joel ordered a new rug that got here Monday. The FedEx lady could barely get it out of the truck, they need to get some stronger FedEx people. Getting it inside with Marley under our feet wasn't fun, but as soon as we set it down she was fascinated! She helped Jeol roll it out and screamed when I tried to get her off of it so he could straighten it.

She hasn't played anywhere else since we layed it down. We have been playing in there all the time and she will roll around on it and just wallow in it. I am so glad they finally got one!

She Loves Kids
We took Donna out to lunch today at Chick-Fil-A, and they have a great little playground for Marley to play in. It was a nasty, wet day outside today, so it is perfect that it was indoors.

When we went last week, Marley was just fascinated by the other kids. But she would stay pretty far away from them and just watch them. I guess it only took one day of getting used to it, because she was all over a little three year old girl named Maggie who was there today. She was following her around, and eventually touching her buttons on her jacket. I was a little nervous about her being so close to the little girl, but I figured if it was really bothering the little girl's mother, then she could get her butt in there and watch her kid. It was just so sweet to me that Marley wanted to hangout with her, so I let her. And I think the Maggie liked the attention.

Decorating the Tree
Snow Day!!
It snowed this afternoon! In Nacogdoches! In December! Obviously, it didn't snow hard enough to stick and we didn't get to really touch any other than what hit us in the head. But I still wanted Marley to be out there enjoying it. She had actually just woken up from a nap. I spent a little time hanging out in bed with her and then we casually walked into the living room. But as soon as I looked out the window and saw the snow, it was a mad dash to get ourselves dressed and out the door. I had no idea how long it would last and I did not want to miss it! So, I might have accidentally knocked Marley over and she might have bumped her head on the dresser, but hey, we were in a hurry to get to the snow! I really could not get her smile at all when we first got out there. It wasn't until Joel came out and started kicking the ball around with her that she started to enjoy herself. I was trying so hard to get a picture of her smiling to send to Asa, and the only way we could get her to smile was to throw the ball at her. (I'm just realizing how rough this story sounds...) But, I got some pretty good ones.

She was really curious about it once she realized it was there. She was pointing at it and trying to get Pompey's attention to show him.
Her hands were little icicles though. There was no way I could get to keep gloves on, so we took breaks and went inside to warm up. But, Emily and I also taught her how to put her hands in her pockets to warm herself up. Doesn't she look so big?!
