The day after Veteran's Day, we had a parade downtown! She was a little freaked out at first, with the loud sirens and the large amount of people.
She warmed up very slowly (pretty typical Marley). First she started waving shyly. And then she eventually started actually smiling!
She waved her flag, clapped her hands, and talked about all the soldiers in the floats. I am glad we got to go to the parade, even if it was a tiny little small town parade. It means a lot to me to honor our veterans, more than it ever has. And I want to instill the importance of that into our girls!
