So much has been going on here the past few days!
Rolling: On Monday, she rolled over for the first time from her tummy to her back. Then yesterday she rolled from her back to tummy! And now wheneer I lay her down on her back, she just immediately rolls over! It is absolutely adorable to watch her figure it all out and see how happy she is when she succeeds!
Almost Sitting: Today, I put Vivi in the bouncer on the counter like I normally do so that she can sit me while we eat. And she just immediately popped herself and started looking around! Now, obviously she was using her arm to help herself up and the strap around her belly is keeping her from falling forward, but it was still a shock to see her sitting like that! She looked like a big girl! I moved her to the Bumbo after I got a few pictures of her, but she got sick of it really quickly. But she will be sitting up on her own soon!
Teething: She has been a big drooler since she was a few weeks old. I change this girl's outfit almost every time I change her diaper because of the insane amount of drool. But I think her teeth are actually bothering her now. I don't know if they will actually come in any time soon (Marley's didn't get her first tooth until she was 9 months) but she chomping on anything that comes near her mouth. Luckily she can kind of hold things in her mouth for a little while, so she can chew on something other than my finger!
All of these changes, along with a possible growth spurt, are very exciting and also making her need her mommy a little bit more over the past few days. She sleeps less, nurses more, whines more, and just isn't really being herself. But there has been a lot going on in her little world the past few days, so I can only imagine how she feels.
Unfortunately, Marley has been sick with a stomach virus for two days. There is nothing worse than one of your kids being sick and there just isn't much you can but comfort them. All I want to do is take it away for her! While I have enjoyed how cuddly both of my girls are the past few days, it is SO hard when both of your babies need you and you can't physically carry them both around all day.
I need more arms!
Marley is hopefully going to feel much better tomorrow, and I can be very thankful that no one else has gotten sick. Vivi is growing up so fast, and I just want to press the pause button for a little while before any new things come along!

Wow! The time is flying! She is growing so fast and her precious little personality is shining through more and more. She is such a doll! I wish I could kiss on those cheeks. We have been thinking of you as the holidays come up. This time is the most difficult time for us...being away from family. I hope you and Asa get to "connect" in some way that is special. Hang in there, mama! You're a trooper! Love,
Amber
