I cannot believe how much more Marley talks recently. We send Asa a flash drive with videos every few weeks and he is going to be so surprised to hear how talkative she is. She literally talks all day long. There is just a constant chatter from her while she eats, gets dressed, plays with toys, or runs through the house. Tonight she ran an entire lap around the stadium, talking and giving orders the entire time. She says words like "actually" and "yesterday" and "weird". It's such a big change from 6 months ago, when she wasn't saying any sentences and most of her "words" were her own little language.
Unfortunately, along with the new vocabulary comes repeating a lot of the things that she hears people saying around the house. My sister and Joel really need to work on censoring themselves around her. And after spending a year in Afghanistan saying whatever he wants, Asa will really have to censor himself when he gets home!
She loves talking about her little brother or sister, and tells me all about the things he or she will like to do and what we should get for the baby. She has people tell her stories literally all day long and then she tells her own stories along with it. She told me today, "Mommy, you smell nasty. You need a show-woah!" But she made up for it later by telling me, "Mommy, you are the best Mommy ever!"
