Last weekend, Marley and I made our trip to Nacogdoches to surprise Papa for his birthday. We planned on staying in Tulsa on Saturday night to break up the trip, so Asa decided to come spend the night with us. Tulsa is the home of the Oklahoma Aquarium, a place that we have been talking about visiting for months. So, we left for Tulsa first thing in the morning, stopped at the Chick-Fil-A in Joplin, and then arrived in Tulsa in the early afternoon.
The aquarium was a little on the expensive side (even with our military discount) but it was still fun. Marley loved seeing the fish, turtles, and even sharks swimming around.
She even got to pet a starfish! Well, I couldn't really tell if she actually touched it, but she tried!
It was a long way for Asa to drive, since he was driving right back home the next morning, but I am so glad we did it. It was a mini, much needed getaway!
