The Thursday before we left Nacogdoches, we had a big dinner with our families! It was so great to have everyone there together, and we are so lucky that we can do that with both sides of our families. Marley entertained everyone with her backyard toys since it was such a great day.
And she somehow convinced every to pull her around in her wagon!
And we got pictures with Papa and Aunt Noah and Mimi.
We grilled hamburgers and bratwurst and had a relaxed little dinner party. Then we all came outside for a game of bocce ball. It's a really fun game that everyone can play (well, except for babies) and I think everyone had a blast! Even the women got into it!
It is always really really sad to say goodbye to everyone, and it doesn't seem to get any easier. But, it is very comforting that we know everyone loves us and will be there for us when we need them. Every single person in our family supports us and wants us to do fantastic here, no matter how much we miss each other. We love you all!
