She Really Loves Us

I can tell recently that Marley really loves us. All day long, she will come up and hug me, kiss me, or lay her head on me. She usually sings a little bit while she does it, like she's really happy. It melts my heart every time. She'll give me kisses when I ask (sometimes they turn into bites, though) and when she looks at me I can just tell how much she loves me. She has been saying "Mama" every once in a while for a few days. It makes me so proud. She wants to be near me, she will sit in my lap for a while, and she will let me hug her for minutes. She waves her hands and squeals when she sees Asa. She will give him hugs and kisses, too. I just love that she is so attached to us. She will look right at me, talk to me, and come over to hug me. I love it.

Walking update: She walked across the living room last night. For a few days I thought that her 8 steps last week were just a fluke because she wasn't doing it again. But she just does it when she feels like it! I love that she is adventurous. She tries again even when she falls after two steps. I think she will take after her daddy on the adventure front.
