10 Months

During her tenth month, Marley accomplished a lot. She went to Crawfish Boil, had four teeth come in, discovered many new toys, and made many new messes. She visited with more family members than ever at one time, went to five minutes of her Uncle Chris's graduation, and celebrated her first Mother's Day with me, and gave me my first hug. She got a few bruises, head bumps, and finger pinches, but it was all okay. She also became a stay-at-home-baby and now spends her days with her stay-at-home-mommy. She decided she liked green beans, went to the creek, went to a birthday dinner, blew bubbles with her Mimi, and then decided she didn't like any food. She also got her room rearranged and started taking naps in her bed! She mastered waving, says "uh-oh", and her favorite game is "Where's Mommy?"

She is more beautiful than ever and her personality shines a little more every day. I can tell she is going to be loving and sweet, but dramatic and sassy at the same time. I look forward to everything is coming in the next few months: first steps, first words, first birthday. But, as I sit here tearing up thinking about all these changes, I also think about how proud I am of everything that has already happened. She is such a wonderful little person and such a blessing in our lives. She can brighten even my darkest days and i wouldn't want to spend one without her.

Now, I'm going to go crawl in bed next to the sweetest baby in the world.

Loving and sweet, but dramatic and sassy - just like her mother!
