Easter Number One
Tonight was Marley's first Easter celebration. We went to Asa's mom's house. His gradparents, sisters, step-siblings, and their kids were all there. I think that made like 10 kids total. The bigger kids did an Easter Egg hunt, but Marley didn't really participate. I bent down and let her pick up one egg, but that was it. That big egg that she is holding in the last picture is her "special egg" that has money in it! Her first dollar! And the picture where she is waving her arms was when she was doing more dancing/waving! I can't decide which one I think she is doing, but either way, it's cute. I was waving my arms around, so she started doing it too.
Marley was a really good sport and didn't cry for anyone. I always feel really protective of her when there are tons of people around. I don't want her to be scared or overwhelmed with everyone fighting over her. So, she stuck with me and Asa most of the time. I think it is so comforting that I am not the only person she wants when she gets scared of someone. Asa can still make her feel safe.
Saturday, we are meeting Leigh and Hunter for coffee and going out to lunch with my mom and Jennifer. Sunday, we have two Easter meals to eat and hopefully a little more egg hunting!
