There is a little boy named Zane who lives at Windhill in the building next to us. He was born on the exact same day as Marley and we have been trying to get them together for a while now. Well, today, I finally tracked down Samantha, Zane's Mommy, and got her to bring Zane over so that they could hang out. We put them on a blanket outside and I took pictures of them while Samantha and I talked about our babies. And it turns out we have a lot in common! We do pretty much everything the same way for our little ones. And Asa and her fiance, Jeramy, are very similar also! I might actually have a mom friend! I'm so excited!
Anyway, on to the babies. Marley was pretty nervous She is normally out-going and friendly with other babies, but she felt uncomfortable today. She just sat there while he touched her. Then Samantha moved him over so he wasn't being so rough with her. After a few minutes she just started crying. She just felt weird I guess. Once I sat her by me and stopped taking pictures she was fine. I guess she just wanted to know I was there for her. Zane talks a whole lot more than Marley, but Marley can hold her self up a lot better than Zane. I know it's now fair to compare them, but of course we are going to. Zane played with Marley's toy and Marley just sat there staring at him.
Aren't they cute together?!When Zane got hungry, playtime was over for today. Hopefully, they can play again soon. I want Marley to have a buddy. And I want a buddy too!
