Not a Fun Time

We had to go to the doctor again today. Marley ear infection from two weeks ago is still here, according to the doctor. So, we are new medication. Woohoo. At least I didn't wait until she was miserable. I took her the second I noticed the symptoms.

Yesterday, my mom made Marley some "soup". It is chicken, rice, onion, and carrots. I actually thought it was pretty good! And Marley likes it to a point. She will eat more of than she will eat anything else but bananas... so I guess that's good.

The past few days have been full of stress. I can't even explain it right now, I just know that life is not very happy. And it breaks my heart that I feel that way. I should be enjoying my life and loving on my baby. Instead I am consumed by all the things that are falling apart. So, it is my mission to change whatever needs to be changed to make the three of us happy. I want to remember this time as a wonderful, joyful time. I have to.

Rainy Days

These pictures were taken with our not-so-fancy-pants camera. I think they look great, though! I am still waiting for an email about how to send in our broken one.

New Toy

We bought Marley this new toy at Wal-Mart that pops balls up into the air while playing music. I thought, "Oh, this will occupy her for at least 5 minutes at work..."

Well, this is what happened when I turned it on.So much for that.

G and G Visit

Last night, we went out to dinner with Grandma Karen and Grandpa David, Marley's great-grandparents. We had a lot of fun with them and Marley turned on the charm every time Grandma Karen pulled out the video camera. She was super cute.
She got to chew on a crouton for the first time. My sister loved croutons when she was a baby.

This morning, we all met for breakfast at my mom's before G and G left. Marley ate breakfast with us and played with Grandma on the floor for a little while.

She also played with Aunt Emily for a while. This is one of Marley's favorite games: Knock Over the Freshly Built Tower. She will do it over and over and over again. Here's how you play:

1. Wait patiently while some builds the tallest tower they can.
2. When you get tired of waiting, lean over and knock it to the ground. Then, congratulate yourself.
She's pretty good at that game. She is going to be a destroyer.

Tiny Dancer

She started dancing last night! It makes me smile every time. Tonight, Grandma and Grandpa are in town. So, after dinner we all stood around Marley while she danced for us. Grandpa and Joel danced with her. She loved the attention and soaked it all up.

She also said "mum mum" today!! I got so excited about that too! So many things are happening all the time. I have such a sweet, beautiful, smart baby. I just love her.

Ok, in this clip, it looks like it could be an accident that she's moving like that. But it is definitely not. She did it even more tonight, but Grandma Karen was the only one who got a video...
